The V-Beam is a pulsed-dye laser and is used to treat generalized redness, broken capillaries, pigmented and certain non-pigmented lesions, excessive sun damage or rosacea. The V-Beam is a painless vascular laser that works by delivering pulsed laser energy and is attracted only to the individual blood vessels on the surface of the skin being treated. The wavelength of the V-Beam laser can be adjusted according to your skin type and the condition being treated. The V-Beam also contains a cooling mist that chills the skin to protect it from the heat of the laser.

The V-Beam is a safe and painless laser with minimal side effects. The cooling mist minimizes common adverse reactions such as inflammation, redness, and bruising. However, patients with sensitive skin can experience these side effects. Side effects will only last for a few hours after the procedure.

Results can be permanent if you follow post-care recommendations and make some lifestyle modifications. Sun damage, for example, can return after the treatment if patients continue to be exposed to sun light and do not wear sun block.
