Dr. David Shafer is Double Board Certified and a Diplomate of the American Board of Plastic Surgery.
       
Dr. Shafer sees consultations in his Midtown Plastic Surgery Office and performs surgical procedures in his Park Avenue Plastic Surgery office and at Manhattan Eye, Ear & Throat Hospital and Lenox Hill Hospital. Dr. Shafer completed his plastic surgery training at the world famous Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. He was then selected for the prestigious aesthetic surgery fellowship at MEETH in New York City. This experience, working with some of the world’s most distinguished plastic surgeons, allowed Dr. Shafer to advance his skill to a level that many plastic surgeons take a lifetime to develop. Dr. Shafer continues to perform operations at MEETH and now teaches the next generation of plastic surgery fellows and residents from NYU, Columbia, Cornell and Lenox Hill Hospital. Dr. Shafer is a Diplomate of the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Plastic Surgery.
